Our declaration
We the members of the Ugandan Community in Boston;
- Recognizing that we share common social, cultural and economic interests, we commit to supporting this organization by adhering to the objectives and provisions as stated in these By-laws.
- Recognizing that being organized is an integral part of sustained progress and development of any society and community;
- Convinced that the preservation of our community requires a conscious effort both individual and communal to guide, strengthen, and unite us in pursuit of liberty, happiness and enrichment of our community;
- Realizing that an organization founded on strong principles will help promote and protect the interests and rights of members of our community;
Vision statement:
UBCA will be at the forefront of creating and providing innovative solutions, to problems facing the Ugandan community in the Boston area, that will result in positive social, economic and health outcomes for our members to enable them to live active, productive and healthy lives positively contributing to their families and community with the ultimate goal of realizing a more vibrant and prosperous Ugandan community in the Boston area. UBCA shall continually aspire to achieve its Vision by being fully committed to its mission and objectives.
